Our Teachers
Mary Andersen
Music has been a part of my life since I can remember. My father would always play classic music and quiz us on which composer was playing. I have taken private piano and voice lessons since the age of 8.
I got my Associate of Science degree at Dixie State University and then went on to George Wythe University to get my Bachelors of Science degree. While in college I was involved in choir and took multiple music theory classes. Once I graduated I taught High School classes for 4 years before I decided to be a full time stay-at-home mom. To keep up on my skills I play the Organ at my church. Music has been very valuable in my own life, but my greatest joy has come from teaching my own children piano and the value of consistent practice. Seeing them excel in music sparked the idea for "Young Musicians."
Music is so valuable especially for young minds. I am a licensed musikgarten teacher and have been teaching this program since 2018. I am thrilled to share it with your child/children!
